Affiliated Monitoring is on the hunt for a Training Supervisor to lead the charge in our dynamic monitoring/call center. You'll be instrumental in developing and delivering impactful new hire and upskilling training, empowering our team to excel in handling critical life and property alarms for dealers nationwide. This isn't just about training; it's about building a high-performing team. As a vital part of our Learning and Development team , you'll be a liaison in crafting innovative training modules and workshops. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure our new hires and seasoned Monitoring Specialists are equipped with the skills and confidence to succeed. We're looking for someone with a genuine passion for learning, an infectious enthusiasm for developing others, and a commitment to setting the bar for professionalism and success.

What You'll Do (And Why You'll Love It):

  • Lead engaging new hire classes (up to 20 participants!) using exciting adult-learning methods, e-learning, and even gamification to maximize impact.
  • Become a subject matter expert on our cutting-edge products and monitoring center procedures within your first four months – we'll support your journey!
  • Deliver dynamic training for new and evolving processes, keeping our Monitoring Specialists at the top of their game.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to continuously refine and elevate our training programs, driving quality and success.
  • Coach and mentor new hires directly in the monitoring center, providing invaluable on-the-job support and adapting to diverse learning needs.
  • Measure learning outcomes and provide constructive, encouraging feedback that truly helps trainees grow.
  • Drive performance improvement for new hires, assessing skill levels and providing targeted guidance.
  • Innovate training delivery , utilizing in-person, remote, and self-paced module-based approaches.
  • Shape our training strategies and create compelling materials that make learning stick.
  • Manage classroom dynamics, coordinate mentors, and maintain vital training databases.

What You Bring to the Team:

  • A deep-seated passion for training, guiding, and empowering new hires and specialists to reach their full potential.
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of hands-on experience in learning and development or a related field.
  • Proven ability to mentor adults from diverse backgrounds and age groups.
  • Strong experience in content development for impactful training or education programs.
  • A track record of leading engaging training sessions with measurable success.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with LMS platforms and curriculum development tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration abilities – you're a natural connector!
  • Relevant professional development, certifications, or coursework in the L&D field.
  • The initiative, judgment, and flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and training needs.
