Financial Advisor Location: Cedar Rapids, IA Full-time in office Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000, based on experience  We are a Cedar Rapids-based wealth management firm. In your new role, you can expect to: Manage client relationships while creating and maintaining financial plans which meet their individual needs and goals Prospect and earn new clients to help achieve firm growth and revenue goals Assist in the integrated tax and wealth management of clients’ assets, including investment, estate, financial, tax, and philanthropic needs. Oversee tax planning for a designated client base. Understand and apply the benefits of an integrated tax planning software with the SFS client service model. Enhance the integration of various disciplines within the wealth management platform (tax, estate, charitable, investment, risk mitigation, and financial). Comprehend the philosophy and mechanics of the investment strategy. Review cases and set up, prepare, and implement action steps for client reviews in conjunction with colleagues. Maintain and enhance client service levels as part of a larger service team. Participate in designing new prospective cases. Monitor tax, philanthropic, and planning issues as they arise. Provide candid feedback for firm growth decisions, drawing from your experience. Business development, relative to identifying and onboarding new wealth management clients. Review estate plan documents, tax situations, and other financial planning topics. Oversee and partner with targeted clients to review and evaluate tax returns and compliance for assigned clients. Ensure timely completion of tax-related research, data gathering, and presentation materials. Present components of comprehensive financial plans to clients. Manage scheduled client contact, including preparation, agenda setting, and follow-up. Collaborate with the investment team to manage tax issues in client portfolios. Act as an internal expert on tax planning, compliance, and administration. Monitor and review client quarterly tax estimates and provide custom recommendations. Qualifications for this opportunity include: ~ Bachelor’s degree in math, finance, accounting, or business preferred ~5 years of experience in the industry ~3+ years of experience in financial or accounting services ~ Series 7, 66 and Life and Health license are preferred (or obtained in within 12 months) ~ CPA/ CFP designation preferred ~ Holistiplan experience preferred ~ Experience in client-focused planning activities in the high-net-worth space is desirable. ~ Professionalism and the ability to thrive under pressure ~ Excellent oral and written communication skills ~ Attention to detail ~ Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills ~ Positive attitude and enthusiasm ~ Confidence and adaptability ~ Flexible in embracing change ~ Drive to help clients and co-workers ~ Willingness to learn
